Calibrate recorders, analyzers and other instruments with 0 to 100 mV, 0 to 1, 1 to 5 or 0 to 10 Volt inputs. Easily set any value to within 0.01 mV or 0.001V with the numeric keypad.
Easily store up to nine setpoints per range. Instantly change the output by recalling any stored setpoint.
Automatically step through some or all of the nine stored setpoints with dwell time from 5 to 500 seconds. Plus manual stepping for full control during instrument calibration.
Check loop wiring and receivers by using the Transmation 1048 in place of a 2-wire transmitter. Simulate a changing process input to check loop response and control settings.
Check controller outputs or measure the milliamp signal anywhere in the loop. The Transmation 1048 measures 0.00 to 52.00 mA signals with much greater accuracy than a typical multimeter. Toggle the display to show milliamps or percent of span.
Simultaneously measure the output of a 2-wire transmitter while using the interal loop supply to power the transmitter. Handy for checking transmitters in the field or on the bench.
Check loop power supplies, batteries or any DC voltage in the plant from 0.00 to 90.00 mV, 0.000 to 20.000 V and 0.00 to 48.00 V.
